This song reminds me of one of my earliest christmas memories. My dad used to work at a Brick Works making...er..House bricks. He'd be up around 4.30 and bike to the works. I remember being up and sat by the big old christmas tree we used to have, with the lights twnkling and my mum and dad in the kitchen sorting out his pack up. I remember it being so very dark except for the glow from the christmas tree lights, me eyeing up wrapped presents under the tree. And this song playing on the radio in the background. Just bliss. Always makes me think of that moment when i hear this song....of a little boy sat by that tree filled with christmas excitement....even if he was half asleep.
